Dr. Gulino has nearly two decades of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult and child psychiatry and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association as well as the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. 

He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Dr. Gulino completed a general psychiatry residency and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

He emphasizes the importance of an accurate mental health diagnosis and comprehensive treatments tailored to the patient’s individual needs. Dr. Gulino takes a complete clinical inventory of their mental health status and factors that contribute to it, such as physical, social, emotional, behavioral, and family history components.
