ADHD Q&A

What is ADHD?

ADHD, or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, is a common mental health condition that makes it difficult to focus, pay attention, and follow through on tasks and/or causes one to feel restless, fidget, interrupt, or have difficulty sitting still. It’s common among kids and some adults and can diminish your quality of life by negatively affecting your academic pursuits, work, or relationships.

Treatment with Dr. Gulino can help you focus, study more effectively, sit still, and become more productive.

How is ADHD diagnosed?

Dr. Gulino diagnoses ADHD by reviewing your medical history and symptoms. He completes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation by asking questions about your or your child’s thoughts, mood, and behavior patterns.
